Den goda byggnadskonsten
Hur återskapa den goda byggnadskonst som är arkitekturens grund? Vad tillför arkitekter byggandet, och vad kännetecknar arkitektonisk kvalitet till skillnad från byggkvalitet i allmänhet?
Det är två frågor som jag i min verksamhet som ansvarig för utbildnings- och forskningsfrågor hos Sveriges Arkitekter ständigt har anledning att försöka besvara för att kunna argumentera för betydelsen av arkitekters arbetsinsats och god arkitektur.

ETHICS & AESTHETICS
One of my teachers, Architecture researcher Jerker Lundequist has adapted the thinking of philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein to architecvtural theory. In his text book Arkitektur; etik=estetik from 1998 he writes: "What he wanted to point at was that we can understand something important about ethics by learning to deal with aesthetical issues." (p.20)

SOCIAL INNOVATION
I am involved in social sustainability projects and community development. Together with my neighbours I have started a platform for inclusive development Mötesplats Örby. We develop a model for inclusive neighbourhoods.
